Nutella Cookies

PERFECT cookie to make with kids - very few ingredients..t.hey can roll the ball and press it down with a glass!

Well, I had high hopes for these cookies - given that I LOVE Nutella, but unfortunaely they were disgusting.  I may have been having an off day but they came out tasting like flour ...and not much else.  Quite disappointing.  But always fun trying something new.  The kids; however, LOVED THEM.  So I will probably make them again for them and it was SO EASY to make!

Kids + Mommy Meal #1 (Pinwheels with Roasted Veggies)

Starting a new blog of meals that I cook with the kids in mind.  They will help me prepare and some of the foods they will even get to play with...Like Meal #1
Pinwheels with Roasted Vegetables

They will help me mix the veggies, add to a blender, stir and mix the pasta w/ the sauce.  The pinwheels will be used to make a design on construction paper for fun while it bakes.  They will get to be a part of the cooking process which I hope will help broaden their palate as they are very picky eaters.  I will post pictures of each meal and grade each meal after it is eaten
1 out of 5 for FUN while preparing
1 out of 5 for TASTE after eating...How much they enjoyed it
and lastly I will post whether I will make this meal again and why I will or will not.

3/5 for FUN - the kids enjoyed making art out of the pinwheels!
The kiddos helped me cut up some of the vegetables and blending these after cooked was a total PAIN! So I would love to buy a food processor someday!

It LOOKED really good!
2/5 on TASTE - The vegetables OVERPOWERED the entire entree and the kiddos weren't a fan, so we ended up eating out.  I wouldn't make this again but it was fun teaching the kiddos about different vegetables and if you are a vegetarian, this would be a GREAT meal!
